ARZENTE
Arzente, an ancient version of the word ‘ardente’, is a word that was coined by Gabriele D’Annunzio in the 1930s to refer to a wine distillate using an Italian word instead of the more commonly named ‘brandy’. Arzente by Bellavista is the result of a discontinuous distillation of only Chardonnay wines carried out in original Charentais copper stills. A highly enjoyable distillate, it is part of the history of Italy
and arose out of Vittorio Moretti’s wish to create a product with noble origins, composed of prestigious distillates from Bellavista’s Chardonnay grapes. It is a blend of different vintages, some of the oldest having aged for over 20 years.
