Behind every wine there is a grape harvest and for every grape harvest there is a time and a place, a climate that changes, a job that is repeated and moulded over the years, a tradition in motion. Tell us about the fragments of your grape harvest, those of the heart and the memory, but also those still to come which you do not yet know. A grape harvest interwoven with your senses and, at the same time, your expectations for the future, the grape harvest that you envisage and, if you like, the grape harvest of your nightmares. Suggestions, visions and experiences that blend and connect with each other, bringing together hundreds of little moments or, if you prefer, one small, unforgettable memory.
The grape harvest is the time and the season that best resembles Bellavista. Balance is the keyword in this world in which all elements complete each other without contrasting and establish themselves without dominating, to create a perfect harmony. And all of this takes place in a single location, Franciacorta, which the great journalist Gianni Brera described thus:
“The miracle of the bubbles expressed by the fervour of a famous clear and cool wine from the north is repeated in the enchanting Franciacorta which adds the triumphant magic of the Po sunshine to the magic of tradition. In this miracle we can content ourselves wonderfully with the pleasure of living according to a unique style.”
It was Gianni Brera that in 1984 founded the Bellavista journalistic award, which used words to give voice to the enchantment of this land. With great gratitude to our friend Gianni, we are now launching a new section of the Prize, dedicated to new languages for new tools of communication which, although significantly different to his Gazzetta dello Sport, we are sure that the man synonymous with live commentary would have greatly appreciated.
